review: Summer's Blood (aka: Summer's Moon)
di Lee Demarbre - Canada 2009 - thriller - 91min.
Summer (Ashley Greene) è una ragazza che ha abbandonato his mother's house to go in search of his father, who has never known. Arrived in the village of his native country of his father, is kidnapped by the mad Tom (Peter Mooney), which binds young women in the cellar, with the complicity of the mother.
It 's a film that, while referring to the long tradition of families of lunatics who inhabit the rural areas of America, try to be more morbid the other dealing with the incest taboo. However dares too little, and the attempt is feeble and known. The main problem with film is that it has chosen a thorny issue but have decided not to deal decisively with a likely lack of courage, pity, because the acting is good and the plot is not bad. Film
unsatisfactory and devoid of elements that justify the council vision.
Rating: 1.5 / 5
