(Ms. 45) Abel Ferrara - USA 1980 - thriller - 84min.
NY: a mute girl named Thana (Zo ë Lund) undergoes a double rape on the same day, one by a guy on the street and dragged her into an alley, the other in his apartment by a criminal who has infiltrated. Thana succeeds but to kill his second assailant and took possession of his pistol, 45 caliber. Since then changes completely and turns into a vengeful and murderous woman who's cool as long as many different men is killed, ironically, by a woman.
Trash define ridiculous is an understatement. The only reason you might see this film is the final part that sees the main character dressed as a nun and armed with a pistol he assigns his divine punishment for the losers during a costume party. Ferrara is the porn and it shows. Also good for giving the many absurdities of the film (for example, that Thana become overnight a ruthless killer by the unerring aim) was impossible to survive the acting mediocre, the script is reduced to a string of murders, the poor soundtrack and poverty technique at all (Ferrara has never been particularly gifted technically, but here, where there is practically only the front shooting at eye level with some detail, what is clear).
